Explanation of my Exile

Well I haven't been here in a while. An explanation is in order. First of all, I will be switching to a different account soon, so that is partially why. Also Brawl came out. Lastly I had finals etc. Also I got busy. And I didn't feel like responding to debate stuff. So anyway, I will be changing accounts. I will send out notes when that happens. Yeah so I am really just posting this to get that last post off my front page. I am serious about what I said. I do want to discuss (though by note) those who are interested in that topic, but its not a pleasant topic. Its certainly one I don't want to be up there for so long. Its life thought right? Somethings are worth getting mad about, but being mad, for anger's sake isn't healthy.

Hey, I might offend some people in this next post. Sorry, but I don't meant to, but I also don't really care. I think what I am saying is right, and if that hurts, maybe it should cause some examination. I am open to discussion though. No comments please. Just drop a note.]
You know there is a term I really hate. The term "lapsed catholic". "Oh what do you believe? Oh I am a lapsed catholic." Thats like calling a christian a lapsed atheist. They aren't a lapsed atheist they are just a christian!
Its terrible how disconnected people are with their beliefs. They have no consistency. I was reading an article that says that only a small percentage of people in America are "ideologues". Ideologue meaning that they have a consistently political philosophy. Like they realize that if you want more government spending, you need more taxes. In other words, they have an informed belief that is consistent itself. But so many people don't have that. They don't care what they believe matches up with the rest of their belief. If you are a Muslim, don't eat pigs. If you are a catholic, don't get an abortion. If you are a freaking scientologist, don't go to a psychiatrists. Its sad, I am a theist, and I often times find more in common with atheists than "religion". Mind you, I am not much better than other people. I believe that the only difference between hate and murder is that the murdered at least has the guts to do something, and yet I do hate people. I do it, and its wrong. So many people though have beliefs, and no connection to their actions. To their lives. If you think pre-martial sex is fine, then fine for you, but don't say you are part of a "religion" that says its wrong. Thats inconsistent. Its dishonest.
And what about these "religions"? They are a problem to. They are just ritual. RITUAL IS DEAD. Ritual is just chains to people. It has no meaning. Its false. Its a mask to hide behind. Truth is what is important. Like I said, I am a theist, but that means I believe in God. That doesn't mean I follow a bunch of dumb rituals. I believe it, because I think its the truth, not because I think its comfortable, or my parents taught me that, or because its tradition. SCREW TRADITION! It doesn't matter people! Its not freaking real! Don't live a lie, following things that are untrue.
Living an inconsistent life, following empty rituals, whats that lead to? Hypocrisy. It leads to people who put on false pretenses, and it makes me so FUCKING angry. It makes me sad too ya know? I am sad that people just can't be honest with themselves. The people living lies, its so vapid and meaningless. People put on these masks, to make themselves look good, to have others say "Wow s/he sure is holy" but the masks don't mean anything. They are nothing but guile and thin excuses. People don't care enough to actually live their life based upon what they believe. And thats not really belief. That hypocritical apathy.
People are so inconsistent, refusing to really search for truth. People hide behind the mask of religion and ritual, doing whatever comes. But people don't care about truth, they just want happy times, and forgetfulnesses. They don't want to change the world, they just want to ignore the nightmare. Ignorance is bliss isn't it? Their apathy turns to hypocrisy. Self-serving lies. Empty
